The Equiheart Team had a great time visiting Ocala last week! The boys especially liked watching a show jumping lesson. It was wonderful catching up with those who have been away for the winter and hopefully I can fit in more of you on our next visit.

Are you hoping for peace and good fortune in 2015?

Well you are in luck!

Today marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year, so say goodbye to the Year of the Horse, and hello to the Year of the Goat!

According to Chinese belief, 2015 will see conflicts abandoned and peace embraced. Among the most cherished animals of the Chinese people, goats are generally quiet, calm and gentle creatures. Much like their disposition, the year ahead is predicted to be filled with auspiciousness, good luck, and unity. Individuals born during a Year of the Goat are said to be lovers of peace who avoid disagreements (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015).

At Equiheart we are grateful for all of our clients, but today, we give a special nod to our goat friends.

You make our lives com-bleat.

This Veterans Day I am honoring my late grandfather Vincent Sollitto. He served in the US Navy stationed in Pinar del Rio Cuba and Belem Brazil during WW2. During that time he crewed US Navy PBJ-1 aircraft during the Battle of the Caribbean patrolling for hostile submarines.
